I really wanted to like this series. The (2) Christmas novellas I had read were good and had introduced characters i wanted to know more about. The first full-length had a unique issue with a scarred member of the ton that I was curious to see explored. Unfortunately I feel like there was really only enough actual story for another novella and it had to be supplemented with lots of inner waffling and-worse-sappy summing up. I started the second full-length in order to read in the proper order to get to the next Christmas novella but I'm bored. I keep skipping paragraphs and wishing they would just get on with it already. I may come back to it later, but for now I'm moving on.Product details

I absolutely loved this book. It has enough intrigue to make it exciting to get to the next page. Thank you.
Hero you will love! The story of this man who suffered the disgrace of his father to still make himself an admirable physician made you invest in him immediately, and while Amy's story was slower to unfold, their story of love at first sight, as hopeless as it seemed drew you in completely. The plot twists were well done too as it was not a story that I could predict the outcome well in advance like so many can be. Good book!
